For 300 PSI Working Steam Pressure (WSP)

 

 

The Steam-Trac ST-300 is designed specifically for steam service to 300 PSI. The reflex borosilicate glass has prisms molded into the process side which will display black for water and white for steam.

All connections and materials fully comply with ASME requirements, and the gage may be used as a Direct Reading Sight Glass for compliance to ASME PG-60. Since water appears completely different than steam, it is not necessary to have overlapping sections. Multiple section gages will have a continuous chamber constructed of a single piece of bar.

Recessed gasket seats and a forged cover make the ST-300 easy and inexpensive to maintain. Live-loading with spring washers is standard and will ensure maintenance of original torque value in cyclic conditions.

Steam Valves up to 3000 PSI

Conval Clampseal® Valves

The most advanced forged valve available, the Clampseal® Valve features the following:

  • Cartridge Replaceable Packing Chamber: Fastest repacking of any valve by swapping bonnet assembly. Minimum packing volume reduces shrinkage and repacking costs. Graphite packing standard on all valves. Other options are available
  • Acme Body - Yoke Connection: Strong and reliable for repeated valve maintenance
  • Pressure Actuated Backseat: Backseat requires very low torque for total isolation of packing. Provides guide journal for steam, avoiding side load packing.
  • Electroless - Nickel Plating: Also available is stainless steel for wetted parts
  • Integral Gland Wrench: Makes packing adjustments simple. Provides lock on packing gland. Available on all size valves.
  • Single Piece Packing Gland: One step packing adjustment ensures concentric loading.
  • Optional Live Loaded Gland
  • Unique Pressure Seal Bonnet: Effective sealing accomplished without welds or gaskets
  • Self Aligning Seating: Disc-Retainer firmly engaged to stem yet free to align perfectly to seat. Made possible by advanced electron beam welding.
  • Solid Sellite™ Seat and Disc: Line contact seating for positive tight shutoff. Two stage pressure drop for reduced wear of seating surfaces. Abundant material for repeated refacing of seat surfaces.


T-Pattern Stop, Check and Stop Check Valves

T-pattern, vertical stem globe valves provide easily accessible stems and extensions for remote manual operation.

  • Available in 1/2" to 3"
  • ASME pressure classes through:
    • 4095, A105, F22, F91, F316, F347,
    • Inconel ™, Monel™ and other materials.

Glass, Gaskets, and Shields

  • Completely interchangeable with competitive manufactures Industry standard glass sizes 1-9
  • Tempered borosilicate glass as standard
  • Tempered Aluminosilicate glass available for higher temperature
  • Standard gasket is stainless steel reinforced Grafoil Grade GHR
  • HQ Mica shields - (.009 to .012).
  • All other gasket and shield materials are available in standard gage glass sizes.
