Continuous One-Piece Chamber
Since water appears differently than steam, it is not necessary to have overlapping sections. Multiple section gauges have a continuous chamber constructed of a single piece of bar.
Cost Savings
The Steam-Trac STBI-3000A Illuminator, required for the Steam-Trac gauge to work properly, is outfitted with a LED lighting system that lasts 200x longer than incandescent bulbs. This provides a high energy savings over incandescent bulbs and eliminates time-consuming bulb changes.
Even better? One power supply will illuminate four sections. By using LED lamps, the frequent maintenance associated with incandescent-type lamps is virtually eliminated.

Visible Under Any Circumstance
Each port of the Steam-Trac STBI-3000A Illuminator has 4 red and 4 green LEDs to provide a brilliant, bi-color water gauge display.
